Dated building, but very clean and comfortable. Staff was great, this will be a good to whenever I'm in the area.
2nd stay here on my way to Las Vegas. Clean, comfortable, safe & quiet. Great value for "vintage" motel. Very nice owner, Vern, who lives onsite making sure property is accommodating and secure. Parking space just feet from my door. The price is right for a roadside motel, good fridge, good microwave, no coffee in room, but free at the office just steps away. Beats paying $350/night to stay in Las Vegas...see you next year, Vern!!
We arrived late at night with our dog and they provided us fantastic customer service and got us set up in a pet-friendly room. So glad to have found this place in the middle of nowhere! I would say skip the Little Al'e'inn (we had truly the most insanely bad customer service experience there) and stay at Alamo Inn instead.
The gentleman who assisted us was an excellent person; he helped us at all times. Since we were traveling in a Tesla electric car, he supported us throughout, providing a way to charge our vehicle. Similarly, it’s an excellent stay: very clean, equipped with everything necessary, with very good Service. I highly recommend it. My family is happy
The proprietor made every effort to make me and my kitty's comfortable. It was a late night and I was passing through via U-Haul. He was very accommodating and the room was clean and very comfortable...I was late getting out but didn't feel rushed at all like some motels or hotels. I hope to stay there again if I have to stop again. I thank the Manager very much in helping me in my time of need. An excellent place to stay, the staff is very friendly and attentive.

Car had broken down in Alamo, blessfully we were right by Alamo Inn and they had a room available for us that night. Never had met such nice friendly and hospitality people till I came to Alamo Inn. They were very accommodating and the rooms were just what we needed to get thru the night. Definitely recommend staying here. Plus you get to see some cute cows right across from it!
Blink and you might miss it driving by! Room was dated but comfortable. Hot water. Fuzzy pattern wallpaper. Good TV/internet, mini fridge. It had everything needed as a "home base" for exploring the area and we extended our stay. The proprietor had so much amazing family/local history dating back to the 1800s to share which was really neat. Sweet guy. Will definitely stay again if adventuring through the region!
Friendly service, clean rooms with cool vintage fixtures, great price. It was the perfect way to split the drive 50/50 from Tucson, AZ to Boise, ID. North of Vegas is great for having a nice no-traffic drive up the 93. Military jets were doing dogfighting practice over Hiko and that was really fun to watch. Made me want to go watch Top Gun again. Although there’s just coffee at the inn, gas station nearby in Hiko is actually well equipped for how remote it is- nicer quality warmer breakfast burritos and sandwiches. My only negative experience here was that the parking is really close to the rooms (which is convenient and great especially if all cars pull nose-in) but we had a couple of dirt bike adventurers warming up their bikes outside the room while my heat was on in the morning and it pushed all of their exhaust straight in my room. Oops I heard it and was too lazy to get up and turn the air off and paid for it haha. All is well though and this was a great place to stay 100%. Very professional, accommodating (they picked up the phone when i called to help me adjust my reservation), safe, and the owner gave me some credible local directions which helped me shave good time (and grade) off my trip to Boise. It’s really nice when you can tell a business and the folks associated genuinely care about you! Thank you!
Stayed 2 times, a week apart, in the same room. It could use some updating (some staining from past water damage). Otherwise it was clean, and service was fantastic. The man who runs it is a very nice, friendly guy. On our first stay, there seemed to be a few things broken- nothing major but they were repaired in between our stays and noone knew we were going to stay there again on our way back home. Nevada has some beautiful sights, there's just a lot of nothing in between and Alamo Inn is the perfect pit stop if you're needing a quick over night stop on the way.
